Questions and Answers

I love questions.

As a social introvert, it seems to me it should be quite difficult to get bored with your own company. 🙂

There are so many questions I want to ask myself, and then ask again after a year, five, or more, and see how my answers have changed.

However, I noticed that sometimes I’d ask myself a question, and would not listen for an answer.

I become impatient, and restless, wanting to move on to the next thing, or the next question rather than taking the time to listen.

Pausing and letting my brain answer is something I remind myself to do.

I also love the idea of asking yourself one quality question a day AND listening to the answer.

As our brains love questions, and it gets to work to find the answer, we might as well choose the questions that empower rather than disempower us.

For example, instead of asking “Why can’t I do this?”, ask “How could I do this AND have fun?”
